The Top Team
Omiya Ardija announced Atsushi Kawata’s transfer from Tokushima Vortis on July 21. The team also announced that Yuta Minami transferred from Yokohama FC on July 25 on a limited term transfer arrangement. At the end of Match 26, Omiya is in 21st place and still faces the possibility of being relegated to J3.
A face mask made of copper fiber, which was designed and produced with advice from Omiya Ardija and Omiya Ardija Ventus players, has been released for sale. Top team’s Toshiki Ishikawa, who heads the Athletes’ Commission, and Saori Ariyoshi, captain of Ventus, led the team of players who worked on the design. A message card with players’ autographs were given away to everyone who purchased the face mask. Ten percent of the proceeds from the sale of the copper face masks and the club’s original face masks will be donated to medical workers in Saitama Prefecture.

Women’s Team
To express gratitude to Fuji Juken for their cooperation and contribution to the “Fuji Juken presents: Omiya Ardija Ventus Summer Camp,” Norio Sasaki (General Manager) and Takeyuki Okamoto (Manager) were accompanied by Ventus players Saori Ariyoshi and Hannah Stambaugh on a courtesy visit to the Fuji Juken offices on July 23.

Omiya Ardija’s U18 team participated in the 45th Japan Club Youth (U-18) Football Championship. With 1 win and 1 loss at the end of the group stage, they did not qualify for the next round.
Haruki Ozawa of Omiya’s U18 squad was selected to the U-18 national team training camp, which is due to take place at the J-Village National Training Center in Fukushima Prefecture.

Ardija Business Club’s “2021 Partners Meeting” was held at Palace Hotel Omiya on July 21.
The “Meiji Junior Nutrition Seminar and Omiya Ardija Family Football Clinic” was held on July 31. Ms. Saito, a nutritionist from Meiji Co., Ltd., gave a lecture about why it is important to eat and what nutrition is critical to our bodies. Coaches from Omiya Ardija’s Development Department held a football clinic for the kids and their parents.
On August 1, Omiya Ardija officially welcomed Inversenet Inc. as a Top Partner of the club. The Inversenet logo will be printed on the pants of the club uniform.
As a replacement of the “Thanks Lunch” program that was scheduled as one of the point services of the 2021 Omiya Ardija Fan Club, the first “Online Talk Show and Draw with Ardija Players” was held on August 7. Four top team players participated in the event with 31 pairs of fans and supporters who were invited by a draw.
On August 18, players from the top team and Ventus took part in the “Fukushima Sunflower Foster Parents Project” at the Omiya Dai-san Park, and joined the participants in watering the sunflowers.
