The Top Team
This year’s Meiji Yasuda J2 League season is coming to an end on December 5. After Match 39, Omiya Ardija ranks at 17th place and is safe from relegation for now. On October 24, the third “Players Online Talk Show & Lottery” took place, with Shunsuke Kikuchi, Masahito Ono, Akinari Kawazura, and Keisuke Nishimura participating in the event.

Women’s Team
Omiya Ardija Ventus stands at seventh place with 9 points in the 2021-2022 Yogibo WE League after Match 9. The first half of the League will finish on December 4, and the match schedule for the second half will be announced in mid December.
Mihoshi Sugisawa was selected to take part in the December 15 – 19 training camp for the U-19 Japan National Team candidates.
Meanwhile, Hannah Stambaugh and Ruka Norimatsu were chosen as a Japan Women’s National Team member for a series of international friendly matches in the Netherlands against Iceland and the Netherlands.

Omiya Ardija’s U18 players Masato Nuki, Rin Yamazaki, and Haruki Ozawa participated in the U-18 Japan National Team training camp that was held November 12 – 18.

On October 30, before the “Meiji Yasuda J2 League Match 36, presented by NTT docomo” against Jubilo Iwata kicked off, an “NTT docomo & Omiya Ardija Football Clinic” took place with the participation of about 100 first to fourth grade children who were chosen by lottery. On November 6, J.League title partner Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company organized an “Omiya Ardija Football Clinic” at Fut Messe Omiya in which 63 kids took part.

Meanwhile, the “19th Omiya Ardija Art Contest Award Ceremony” was held on November 7 at NACK5 Stadium Omiya. Representatives of the corporations that sponsored the event presented a certificate and prize to 24 children who received an award for their artwork.
To promote activities contributing to the local community, which is one of the major objectives of the Ardija Business Club (ABC) and the J.League Social Alliance Head Office’s “Sharen (social alliance activities)”, unused foodstuffs were collected at a booth set up at the stadium during the November 7 J.League and November 13 WE League home games. In cooperation with Saitama City, the foodstuffs were donated to ‘cafeterias for children’ and welfare service facilities in Saitama prefecture.

Norio Sasaki, who serves as Senior Head Coach of Omiya Ardija as well as Total Advisor of Omiya Ardija Ventus, was appointed on November 18 to serve as JFA Women’s Committee Chairman. He will officially assume his new position from December 5. Following his new assignment, he will step down from his positions as Senior Head Coach of Omiya Ardija Ventus and Total Advisor of Omiya Ardija and will fill the role of Omiya Ardija Senior Advisor.
